Create, exhibit and fundraise with Canvas 25 at Courtyard Arts
Mind in Mid Herts have partnered with Courtyard Arts for Canvas 25
Canvas 25 starts the celebration of 25 years of creativity at Courtyard Arts and you can be part of it! Simply purchase your 25 x 25cm canvas and get creative in your chosen medium to transform it. Open to all of any age, whether new to art or with many years of experience, all finished canvases will be exhibited together in the beautiful gallery space as part of a month long charity event in September.
Centre Director Kate Davies said: “We are delighted to be celebrating 25 years of our Herts art community and hope many new and existing artists will get creative and take part. We have some exciting plans as part of our year of celebration and look forward to getting back to being an active art centre at the heart of the community.”
Courtyard Arts have partnered with Mind in Mid Herts for this event, with whom they have a great collaborative relationship; the art centre provides workshops for Mind in Mid Herts’ service users. All canvasses will be for sale during the exhibition for £40 each and proceeds shared between Courtyard Arts and Mind in Mid Herts.
The event will run from 7th September to 2nd October 2021. Contributing artists will be invited to a private view event so they meet each other and enjoy being part of our artistic community.
Blank canvasses are on sale now for £10 each and can be collected from Courtyard Arts or pick up from the shop Five and Dime on Fore Street in Hertford. There is no limit to how many you can buy.
